Fraud number. Be aware 7389414124

In one of the photos when we Google for White Pearl Residency, it is mentioned "Call Me Booking 7389414124". This number is also mentioned in the review section for the resort. This seems to be a fraud number. Beware. When I called this number, a person named Sandeep Kumar answered. He shared the photos and other room details via Whatapp. Then he asked me to confirm the booking by making a transfer via GPay. I transferred 50% of the total amount. He said he would send me an invoice to my email address which I shared. Then to confirm the booking this Mr. Sandeep Kumar again asks me to transfer Inr 29986 which he says is my confirmation number!! He asked my to put the number 29986 in the amount section of GPay. I got suspicious. After this he said he can cancel my booking. I said ok go ahead and cancel. For this he again tried to trick me by asking me to transfer the same booking amount. He was saying that this is how his system works and that the money will not get really deducted. When I asked him to let us speak to the Manager he said there was no manager. At the very end he started abusing and that is when we realized we were scammed and tricked.

This has been my 3rd visit to this hotel and I must say that the management team have been absolutely spot on multiple things. The breakfast is complimentary and it was really well prepared. The owners make it a point to visit the guests and are extremely hospitable. Any issues with the room are addressed immediately without any fuss. The team is amazing. The highlight was the dinner we had there , extremely well prepared and it was really wonderful service. The wood fired pizza was also done excellently.

I have been here for my wedding anniversary. This place is really good for the price offering. Pros: 1. Polite and friendly staff, receptionist 2. Helps for auto and bike rentals 3. Well maintained 4. Auroville beach is a walk away Cons: 1. Felt a little far from the white town. 2. Breakfast can be improved but for the price they are offering it is reasonable.

Awesome Stay, it is actually a home away from home :-) Awesome food and awesome hospitality It is near the Aurovilla Beach The hotel is on the ECR highway five Kms from Pondicherry University
